Trail Building with The Access Fund

Our weekend with the Access Fund Conservation Team is rapidly approaching! This is our big conservation event of the year!

This year’s conservation project will rework the area under Bill’s Buttress, from Pushmi-pullyu to Dark Prophet. This will involve a substantial amount of stone work, similar to our 2017 Leaning Tower Gulley project. The work area is limited, so we will ask you to work in 4 hour shifts of 25 people.

1 August (Thursday)

8-9 PM, Boulder Climbing Gym – Downtown (Madison)

Meet the Access Fund Conservation Team, and learn what you can do to help make climbing sustainable in Wisconsin! Snacks provided.

2 August (Friday), 1-5 PM, Devils Lake State Park, the Cheatah Erosion Control Project

Cut out from work early and help break ground on this year’s conservation project. We will begin reworking the area under Cheatah. Meet at the CCC parking lot. Wear work clothes.
